    Deuteronomy 6.16 Honour thy father and thy mother as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee, or Exodus 20.12 Honour thy father and thy mother. We have two separate days for honoring our earthly parents, and 364 days to honor our father who eart in heaven.

    Did you know there are 592,439 words in the old testament, and 181,253 in the new testament. Out of 773,692 words in the Bible, the word Father occurs 1,500 times, or .0019%  In terms of days, we celebrate Father’s Day .0027% of the year.

    For Republican gubernatorial candidate Roy Moore, the race is over, but he came away with a huge Cost Per Vote victory. Campaign Contributions, being one of Judge Moore’s campaign issues, it’s clear to see he followed his own edict, averaging slightly more than nine dollars per vote received. Front runner Bradley Byrne spent more than thirty-four dollars per vote received,  and contested runner up Tim James spent nearly thirty-five dollars for his bailiwick. (CPVR numbers are approximate)

    Judge Roy Moore repeatedly campaigned against special interest contributions, warning of the obvious obligation strings that would not attach to the publicans best interest. So at the end of the day, who would have predicted that the public at large would one day be a special interest group?

    Too bad for Moore the public didn’t see it that way…
